The behaviorally challenged student I was helping to teach has been moved to a different home for a few days. Frankly, I want this child for myself. That’s probably a silly idea. I think her home life is a lot of her problem.
Romeo has returned from showing! The breeder agrees with us that he is a head strong dog. Sometimes it’s impossible to get him to drop something. I messaged the vet about this. He usually has good advice.
Today I completed a task that has been on my ToDo list for at least a year. I visited the safe deposit box. We had car titles and diplomas to deposit. I needed the diplomas for jobs, put after it’s taken out it’s really hard to get it back. It’s done!
Today I donated lots of stuff to Goodwill. We had lots of books to get rid of. Now that I am retired I don’t need technical books. I had some clothes to git rid of. I donated all of my Etsy stuff that was not selling. It feels good to give stuff away! I am lighter now.
This is a small part of my garden. People say it’s very relaxing and I think it is. Lots of native plants and pretty things.
He is earning lots of points which means he is getting closer to being “our dog”. You know I am the one who trained him!
I am sad that there will be no hiking this weekend. My husband is going fishing Sunday. Saturday I have a class to teach. Maybe next weekend. It’s hard to find fun things to do that are corona virus safe.
The puppy is off doing show until the 28th of September. It’s like a vacation! My seven year old dog is so mellow. They are both Welsh Spring Spaniels. To tell you the truth, I don’t really like puppies. I am just waiting for him to turn into a dog.
Yesterday I took Jasper for a walk. It was just like a sauna and smoky yesterday. Not pleasant at all. I hope the wild fires go away soon.
This is a picture of the puppy, Romeo, retrieving a stick in the water from our hike.
